The McLaughlin Whitewater Design Group brings decades of hydraulics and outdoor recreation leadership and expertise to the design and development of whitewater venues, led by the principals from our parent company, now McLaughlin Water Engineers, Ltd. Our tradition of innovation and excellence is founded on not only meeting project criteria, but by exceeding performance expectations after the project has been completed.
In the exciting new arena of whitewater course and park development, the McLaughlin Whitewater Design Group will design to meet your needs as a client, creating community recreation destinations which are built to last.
Collaborating with other whitewater experts, the engineers who are now the principals at McLaughlin Water Engineers designed applauded projects across the U.S. These include the 1996 Olympic course on the Upper Ocoee River (TN), Confluence Park (Denver, CO), Horseshoe Bend’s Gutter on the Payette River (ID), and the Adventure Sports Center International (MD) - the future site of both the International Whitewater Hall of Fame and its self-contained, river-like whitewater course.
We are fortunate to have the additional technical support of McLaughlin Water Engineers, Ltd. whose extensive experience includes
